My Trip to Nothern Kenya Part 2.

Day 2

From Tacaba we boarded a Land cruiser to Mandera. The journey began at around 7.30AM East African Time. The previous night was a bit hot and by morning it was a little cool. We had a smooth trip till we were at Rhamu Town where we stopped for a refreshment. It was 11Am but really hot.

Few Minutes later after departing Rhamu we got involved in an accident luckily no one was hurt. Considering the remoteness of this place we could not wait for police to assess the situation luckily a passing lorry offered to take us all the way to Mandera Town. The Journey was amazing, ridding on a lorry for the first time in such a remote and hot environment.

Later arrived at Mandera town at around 4PM. The photos says it all. Enjoy….
